We have always endeavoured to revolutionize the school education by introducing activities and classes which will help our students in keeping ahead of the rest. Introduction of French Language Classes for classes 7 to 9 is one such endeavour.
EduSports is a well structured, age appropriate sports curriculum for classes 1 to 5. A Banglore based professional sports company-SportzVillage provides a sports curriculum with the mission of developing a generation of smarter, fitter, healthier and sports-inclined students.
An interschool scholastic test is conducted for the students of classes 1 to 12 every year from the last five years. Students from Mansa, Bhikhi, Maur Mandi, Budhlada and other surrounding areas participate in this test to know their position amongst thousands of students. Winners receive trophies and cash prizes worth few lakhs.
We had introduced the concept of WHC for the students of classes 1 to 10 to promote a culture of sports among the school students and also to increase their physical fitness. Students play different indoor and outdoor activities like Cricket, Basketball, Skating, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Carrom , Chess, Football etc. on Saturdays.
We believe in the overall development of students and try to provide every different platform that will help them. We organize one day tours as well as 3-4 day/night outstation tours for the students to have an altogether different experience. Students stay in 4 or 5 Star Hotels at beautiful destinations like Manali, Dalhousie, Jaipur, Dharamshala etc.
A fun filled students carnival SFD is organized for the students of all classes. Students enjoy different games, rides like Elephant ride, Tonga ride, Camel ride etc. They also enjoy a number of eatables, dance, magic show etc. A Punjabi Culture Corner is the main attraction of the event.
Regular counselling sessions and seminars are held for the students as well as parents. Students are counselled regarding discipline, importance of studying, respecting parents and teachers etc. Singhal Stars Career Counselling Session (SCCS) is an important session held for the parents of students of class 10 every year. This session helps students and parents to clear their doubts regarding the choice of subjects and place of study for class 11.
Various competitions and contests for students are held on regular basis to help students become confident and remove stage fear. English Declamation Contest, Punjabi Story Telling Competition, Hindi Speech Competition, Poster Making, Art and Craft Competitions etc. are some of the competitions for the overall development of students. Speech/Declamation Contests of different languages help students develop fluency and confidence.
